It is recommended whenever the animal shows red eyes, excessive tearing, eye discharge, eye pain, frequent blinking, difficulty keeping the eye open, vision changes, changes to the eye surface, ocular trauma or changes in eye colour.

The consultation includes a full ophthalmic exam with specific equipment and tests. When needed, we perform tests such as fluorescein staining, the Schirmer test, intraocular pressure measurement and other exams, allowing us to pinpoint the cause and define the most appropriate treatment.
